Bio

I grew up in a one horse town in Texas. A place were people were always helping  each other. I enjoyed going to Sunday school and church. My parents had me in church every Wednesday and Sunday.  I am sad to say this but church was like a hangout to us as kids. I am not sure when at a teenager I became a Christian.. I think it was at the age of 17 years old during a revival. I grew up most of my life in a Southern Baptist church.  Today there are a lot more church members in our churches instead of faith believing Christians.

One of Santan’s  lie is faith is based on our works. To become a Christian you have to at some time in your life ask Jesus to forgive you of all your sins and take control of your life. When you ask Jesus Christ  to come into your life as Lord and Savior of your life. At this point you are now a Christian based on your faith in Jesus Christ. Have you ever took the time to ask  Jesus Christ to be the Lord and Savior of your life?

I thought I was a strong Christian during my high school years. I was not popular in high school but was well liked by everyone. I thought by joining the Army National Guard after high school would mean a successful life. ( Gal. ) . Joining the Arm Forces was a great career move for me in the long run in my life. Being a soldier is a very stressful life. Proverbs tells us the fear of the Lord is a fountain of life, To turn one away from the snares of  death.  As soldiers we fear the unknown.

As a person my life has taught me many life lessons. I didn’t start partying till after high school at the age of 21 years old. I was a different person after basic training and AIT. When I return home my life had been transformed by Satan lies. I can’t stress enough about having a quiet time with the Lord everyday. I turn my back on church and my Christian friends for five years of my life. For a long time in the back of my mind . I wonder what it was like to be popular and the world’s life was like. When you give the enemy a inch it will become a mile.

The devil wants to destroy your life. (1 Peter 5:8 ) God loves you and wants to be your friend for life. As sin grew in my life my heart became hard against God. After seeing the love of Christ through faithful Christians like my best friend  along with many prayers to our Heavenly Father it was time for me to come home to the Father. I am very blessed to be alive today. The Lord lead me to start Straighttalk in Dallas Texas. I had all my posters and cards made for me for free from a guy in the Dallas area. God  never allowed Straighttalk to start up because it wasn’t his perfect timing. When God told me to start a website for soldiers it was a real step of faith for me. Today because of prayer partners and trusting in God . Straighttalk has had over 22,000 hits for the month of Feb. I would encourage you to trust in God to find out how you can serve him in your home church. The bible studies are free for youth groups and soldiers with real life lesson from my life. I enjoyed my bible studies in the Denton and Dallas area. I have always wanted to support a Christian rock station in the Dallas area. After being in prayer about supporting 89.7 power f.m. the Lord has lead me to start next month. Incase you are in the Dallas area you should check out 89.7 f.m. website at www.897powerfm.com/  As Christians we need to support  our brothers and sisters in Christ. You will find mistakes in this Bio but you need to see the way a bible study looks before we correct our mistakes. Have fun and enjoy your life in Jesus Christ.
